The rebranding exercise we undertook at Lingfield Point for our clients Frogmore started with a refresh of their logo but quickly developed into a refurb of their whole facility with Simpsons being retained as interior and exterior design consultants as well as property marketing agency for the whole project.
Lingfield Point is a unique business and community development at Darlington in the North East of England, which was originally the hub of the wool trade in the first half of the last century and included grand accommodation and entertainment facilities for its workers.
Frogmore invited us to help reposition it as the business capital of the North East and a world class business destination that would attract national and international companies with accommodation ranging from lofts and studios to workshops and warehouses.
This involved the development of an ultra-modern corporate identity with a vibrant colour scheme that so appealed to our client that they invited us to work with the site contractors to develop a design scheme that extended the brand throughout the major on-site buildings, including the entrance hub and the ‘Yarn’, a converted wool mill. To keep the brand consistent both internally and externally we created a set of brand guidelines.
Other work includes the redesign of Lingfield Point’s website and other marketing collateral including advertising, company literature and on-site signage.
